Annual Meeting Participation Funding (formerly known as Annual Meeting Travel Stipends)
For the 2022 hybrid meeting, SCS is offering to members who are students, contingent faculty, or unemployed scholars participation stipends for in person OR virtual meeting attendance. Please fill out the form below by November 1. Successful applicants will be notified in early November, and payments disbursed in late November. We aim to fund as many people as possible. Preference will be given to anyone appearing on the annual meeting program or serving on an SCS committee, and to those receiving no funding from other sources.
For the purposes of the funding application, “contingent” is defined in its broadest sense as any non-tenure track faculty member at any institution type. “Contingent” includes postdoctoral fellows.

Childcare / Dependent Care Subsidies
Annual meeting attendees may apply for childcare / dependent care subsidies to be used in San Francisco or to be used at home. Both in-person and virtual attendees can apply for these subsidies. Please fill out the form below by November 1. Successful applicants will be notified in early November, and payments disbursed in late November.
