The Classics Department at Connecticut College houses four full-time faculty members, three in Classics and one in Arabic Studies. We are currently considering how Classics might link with other studies of the Mediterranean world, and would welcome a new colleague who would contribute to this conversation. We offer a Classics major with concentrations in Classical Languages, Classical Studies, and Classical and Medieval Studies, a Classics minor with four tracks, and a minor in Arabic Studies. Currently, more than two dozen students are pursuing degrees in our Classics programs. Classics faculty also offer innovative courses that support the Connections curriculum.
