The successful candidate will be expected to assume a position of leadership in the department at the earliest opportunity, actively participating in rethinking both the content and the pedagogy of the curriculum in Classics for the twenty-first century. Kalamazoo College has made a commitment to inclusive excellence. We especially encourage applications from candidates whose intellectual and pedagogical approaches to the discipline will be effective in attracting and retaining historically underrepresented students.
