Assumption College, a liberal arts college, seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics for a three-year, replacement (non-renewable) position to begin in Fall 2000. Candidates must be able to teach literature in translation and possibly ancient history in addition to all undergraduate levels of Latin and Greek. Expertise in prose preferred. Qualifications include: Ph.D. by May 2000 and successful teaching experience. Candidates must understand and support the Catholic liberal arts mission of the College.
