One-year contract faculty position available August 19, 2005, for the academic year with possibility of renewal. Responsibilities: teaching in classics and related areas, including introductory and upper division courses; engaging in scholarly activity. Minimum qualifications: ABD in discipline; at least one year's teaching experience, particularly in Latin, Greek, or introductory classical civilization, mythology or etymology; research promise expected. Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in discipline; generalist; evidence of successful teaching.
