Humanities/Classics/Great Texts in the Classical Tradition: Baylor University Great Texts Program seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2013. The Program is especially interested in applicants with expertise in Classics or the Classical Tradition, including comparative studies that engage literature, philosophy, or theology. Ph.D. required. Teaching load: 2/2. Enthusiasm for undergraduate education is essential. Salary is competitive and experience related. For full consideration, all materials must be received by November 1, 2012. In addition to c.v., transcripts, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation, the letter of application should include a statement of teaching philosophy and a response to Baylor’s Mission Statement.
