BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GREAT TEXTS PROGRAM – WACO, TX
Humanities/Great Texts: Baylor University Great Texts Program seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin Fall 2012. The Program is especially interested in applicants with expertise in Classics or the Classical Tradition, including comparative studies that engage literature, philosophy, or theology. Ph.D. required. Teaching load: 2/2. Salary is competitive and experience-related. For full consideration, all materials must be received by November 15, 2011. In addition to c.v., transcripts, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation, the letter of application should include a statement of teaching philosophy and a response to Baylor’s Mission Statement.
