The Department of Classical Studies at Boston University seeks applications or nominations for a position in Latin at the rank of assistant professor (tenure track) to begin in September, 2011 (pending final budgetary approval). Specialists in literature, especially poetry, of the early empire are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have Ph.D. in hand and must demonstrate exceptional potential or achievement as scholars and as teachers of undergraduate and graduate students.
