The Department of Humanities, Classics, and Comparative Literature invites applications for an anticipated two-year (with possibility of a third year) visiting position, beginning Fall 2011. The opening is definite. Requirements: PhD in Classics completed before August 2011. Expectations: 3/2 or 2/3 course load with one additional course in Spring term (May-June), consisting of Greek and/or Latin courses from elementary to senior level, plus lecture courses in translation; limited committee work.
