The Bryn Mawr College Department of Greek, Latin and Classical Studies seeks to fill a possible one-year visiting position in Classics for the academic year 2009-10; PhD desired. The successful candidate will be expected to teach six courses, comprising undergraduate courses in Greek, Latin and Classical Studies, a graduate seminar of his/her choosing and possibly a freshman seminar.

The undergraduate program in Classical Studies offers a wide range of courses in Greek and Roman history, literature, material culture, philosophy and religion that complement the offerings of other departments and serve the program of college seminars. At the graduate level the department regularly contributes to the activities of the Graduate Group in Archaeology, Classics and History of Art.
