Archaeologist. The Department of Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology invites applications for a tenure track appointment, open rank, to begin Fall 2000. Desired areas of specialization include regions bordering and/or interacting with Mesopotamia and the Eastern Mediterranean, including the Black Sea region, Anatolia, Syria, and Iran, with a chronological range extending from the late second millennium B.C. through the Roman period. Applications from experienced field archaeologists are especially welcome. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses.
