The Department of Greek, Latin and Classical Studies seeks a generalist with a specialization in Latin poetry for a one year appointment beginning late August 2006 to teach courses in Latin prose and poetry from the elementary level to that of a graduate seminar as well as courses in classical studies and/or a college seminar for entering students; Ph.D. required. Applications, including three letters of reference and writing samples, should be sent to the chair of the department, Professor R.T. Scott, and must be received by March 3, 2006.
