Calvin College anticipates a tenure-track opening in Classics (pending final administrative approval). Area of specialization is open, although expertise in ancient history would be an asset. We hope the eventual appointee will have broad general interests and be able to teach courses including Greek, Latin and classics in translation at all undergraduate levels; most of the teaching load will be in Greek and Latin Language. Ph.D. strongly preferred.
