Centre College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor of Classical Studies, beginning August 1, 2012. The successful candidate should be either ABD or have Ph.D. in hand. Specialty open. Courses will include first-year Latin, intermediate Latin, first-year humanities (Greek and Roman Civilization), and a culture or literature course (taught in English). Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in a student-centered environment.
