Claremont McKenna College (CMC) invites applications for an associate or full professor in the History department beginning July 1, 2000. Individuals specializing in ancient Greece and/or Rome, or in early Byzantine are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to teach general and advance undergraduate courses in their areas of specialization, and participate in the Civilization program. Opportunities may also exist to instruct students at the Claremont Graduate University.

CMC is a member of The Claremont Colleges, which also include Pomona, Scripps, Pitzer, Harvey Mudd, the Claremont Graduate University and the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences.
