CLAREMONT McKENNA COLLEGE – CLAREMONT, CA
Ancient History. The History Department of Claremount McKenna College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in ancient history at the assistant professor level to begin in July 2007. Specialists in Rome or late antiquity are particularly encouraged to apply, and secondary interest in the medieval world is welcomed. Candidates will be expected to teach general courses, including surveys of the republican and imperial periods in Roman history, and advanced undergraduate courses in their areas of specialization.
