The Department of the Classics is authorized to appoint a postdoctoral scholar with an interest in language pedagogy to teach three courses over the two-semester year for a period of one year, possibly renewable for an additional year, to take effect July 1, 2004. Salary will be $32,000 per annum plus benefits. In addition, some financial support in the form of travel money, etc., will be available for research. The successful candidate should have completed her/his dissertation not more than three years prior to application and will be expected to contribute fully to the life of the department.
