COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON - CHARLESTON, SC (Two Positions)
POSITION ONE: Definite Position. Assistant Professor of Classics: Tenure-track position. Our growing program announces a definite new tenure-track position to expand our interdisciplinary offerings. We seek a classicist who in addition to teaching all levels of Greek and Latin has teaching and research interests within one or more of the following areas: Greek history, Classical art and archaeology, Women's Studies, or Mediterranean religions of the Greco-Roman period. Teaching load is four courses per semester. Ph.D. in Classics or related field is required. Salary is competitive.

We seek a generalist with research interests in philology to teach Latin and Greek language and literature at all levels as well as to develop and teach a range of literature based classical civilization courses. Teaching load is four courses per semester. Ph. D. in Classics or related field is required. Salary is competitive.
