The Department of Classics invites applications for a full-time, visiting appointment (one-year replacement) beginning in August, 2003. Candidates should have the Ph.D. in hand by that time and be qualified to teach undergraduate courses in Greek and Latin language and literature at all levels, Classical literature in translation, and Classical mythology and civilization. Familiarity with the teaching environment of a small private liberal arts college is desirable.
