COLLEGE OF WILLIAM AND MARY – WILLIAMSBURG, VA
The Department of Classical Studies at the College of William and Mary invites applications for an entry-level tenure-track position for a Romanist at the rank of assistant professor to begin in August of 2005. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in hand, show evidence of excellent teaching and success with large lecture courses, as well as demonstrating promise of a distinguished career as a scholar. They must be able to teach Greek and Latin at all levels, Latin literature, and Greek and Roman Mythology, in addition to other general classics courses. All full-time members of the Department regularly teach a 3/2 course load per year.
