The College of Wooster invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Department of Classical Studies beginning Fall Semester 2006. We seek a Latinist able to teach courses in literature and civilization as well as Greek and Latin at all levels. Area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates with experience and expertise in interdisciplinary teaching (Archaeology, Comparative Literature, Women’s Studies). Must be willing to supervise students in the College program of Independent Study and participate in the College’s interdisciplinary programs, including First-Year Seminar. Ph.D. expected by August 21, 2006.
