Colorado College seeks to hire a classicist at the rank of Assistant Professor with a developed specialty in Latin language and literature and proficiency in language pedagogy, Roman history and culture. Interest in material culture, archaeology, myth or religion desirable. The successful candidate will show the capacity to lead a strong classics program. Ph.D. preferably completed by start of appointment in August, 2009.
