The Department of Classics at Columbia University has been authorized to appoint a Lecturer in Discipline. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal through a fifth year. The teaching load includes four courses in Classics. In addition the successful candidate will be expected to administer the Post-Baccalaureate program and assist in supervision of graduate Teaching Fellows in Greek and Latin. Experience in one or more of these areas is expected. Ph.D. and teaching experience required. Deadline for application is December 15, 2009.
