CONCORDIA COLLEGE – MOORHEAD, MN
The Department of Classical Studies at Concordia College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment beginning fall 2005. We are seeking a broadly trained classicist, able to teach Latin and Greek at all levels, Classics in Translation, Mythology, and Roman History, as well as participate in the collegeîs liberal arts program. We are also looking for someone interested in Latin pedagogy and in preparing undergraduates for Minnesota K-12 licensure in Latin. Willingness to participate in Concordiaîs Latin Days and our May Seminar program preferred; teaching experience and Ph.D. in hand also preferred. Our department offers majors in Latin and Classical Studies, minors in Latin, Greek and Classical Studies. Concordia College is a liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
