The Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies at Creighton University has been authorized to invite applications for a one-year leave replacement position beginning in the fall of 1999. Candidates should be able to teach Greek and Latin at all levels and civilization courses in translation. Preference will be given to candidates with completed Ph.D.s and teaching experience. Creighton is a comprehensive university; successful candidates must be able to contribute to its mission as a Jesuit, Catholic institution. Candidates should submit a complete dossier, including a letter of application, curriculum vitae, transcripts, and at least three current letters of recommendation to: Prof. Leonard J.
