The Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies at Creighton University has been authorized to invite applications for a one-year leave replacement position at the rank of visiting assistant professor to begin in August 2002. Candidates should be effective, energetic teachers who are committed to undergraduate education and capable of teaching Greek and Latin at all levels, classical civilization courses, and humanities offerings in Creighton's core curriculum. Preference will be given to candidates with completed Ph.D.'s and demonstrated teaching experience. Creighton is a comprehensive, Jesuit, Catholic university that seeks candidates able to contribute to its distinctive institutional mission and traditions.
