Sessional Appointment - Lecturer/Assistant Professor, Ancient History. Applications are invited for a ten-month, full-time, sessional appointment at the Lecturer/Assistant Professor level effective September 1st in Ancient History. This appointment is subject to budgetary approval. The successful candidate will teach an introductory class on the history of the ancient world, intermediate level history classes on Greece and/or Rome, and an advanced undergraduate Roman history seminar. Applicants should have completed their Ph.D. or be close to finishing and show competence in teaching, research and publication appropriate to their experience.
