The Classics Department at Dartmouth College invites applications for a position in Latin Literature at the level of tenure-track Assistant Professor. The field of specialization is open. The teaching load consists of four courses over an academic calendar of four terms, and regularly includes introductory and intermediate courses in Greek and Latin as well as literature in translation. The Ph.D. degree must be in hand by July 1, 2007, when the appointment begins.
