The Department of Classics invites applications for a one-year sabbatical replacement appointment at the visiting assistant professor level, beginning August 2008. We are looking for a generalist who is excited about teaching all levels of Latin and Greek as well as courses in translation. We prefer prior teaching experience and a Ph.D. Davidson's teaching load is five courses per year.
