The Department of Classics at Davidson College invites applications for a two-year appointment, beginning August 2013. We seek a Roman historian prepared to teach Latin at all levels, in addition to courses treating Roman civilization and culture. Applicants must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching at a liberal arts college. Prior teaching experience and a Ph.D. preferred. Davidson’s teaching load is five courses per year.
