DAVIDSON COLLEGE — DAVIDSON, NC

The Department of Classics at Davidson College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2012. We are looking for a Romanist who is both a strong Latinist and will make a significant contribution to Davidson’s new concentration in archaeology. Applicants must have a deep commitment to undergraduate teaching and an active research agenda. Prior teaching experience and a Ph.D. strongly preferred. Davidson’s teaching load is five courses per year.
