DENISON UNIVERSITY – GRANVILLE, OH
The Department of Classics at Denison University invites applications for an approved tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor of Classics beginning in the Fall 2009. We are seeking a candidate who has a research interest in ancient history; however, the area of specialization is open. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in Greek and Roman history, as well as Greek and Latin at the elementary, intermediate and possibly advanced levels. Applicants should have teaching experience, with the certainty of fulfilling all doctoral degree requirements by September 1, 2009.

The deadline for applications is November 16, 2008. We will conduct interviews at the APA/AIA meeting in Philadelphia.
