DICKINSON COLLEGE – CARLISLE, PA
Dickinson College seeks a Classicist at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor who specializes in Roman civilization and can teach Greek and Latin at all levels. The specialization within the field of Roman studies is open. Dickinson is a private coeducational liberal arts college of some 2300 students and 200 faculty, located in south central Pennsylvania. The Classical Studies department has four faculty and separate majors in Classics and Archaeology.

The successful candidate should have completed the requirements for the doctorate before commencement of teaching in September 2008, demonstrate clear potential for scholarly work, and be able to participate fully in a Classics and Archeology curriculum in line with Dickinson's liberal arts tradition.
