The Classics Department of Emory University invites applications for a one-year replacement position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics, beginning Fall term, 2013. Candidates should be versatile generalists. Potential department needs include teaching Greek and Latin at all undergraduate levels, as well as innovative courses in Classical civilization and ancient Mediterranean studies. Teaching load is 3/2. Candidates with teaching experience and Ph.D. preferred.
