Oxford College of Emory University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in Latin and Classics beginning fall 2006. Ph.D. required by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching and scholarship and have a strong commitment to teaching first and second year students at a Liberal Arts intensive college. Teaching responsibilities are three courses per semester, including first and second year Latin courses as well as courses in Classical civilization.
