Latinist. Fairfield University invites applications for a one-year visiting position beginning September 2010, rank depending on qualifications. We seek a Latinist to teach elementary and intermediate Latin, and courses in classical literature in translation. Teaching load will be twelve hours per semester, with typical faculty duties as determined by the program director and the dean. This is a one-year sabbatical replacement. Ph.D. and prior teaching experience preferred. Review of applications will begin March 1, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled.
