The Classics Department of Fordham University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year 2013-2014. The initial term is for one year renewable up to a total of 3 years. Area of specialization is open but a strong interest in teaching Greek and Latin at all levels, in addition to Classical civilization courses, is expected.
The teaching load is 3/3. Applicants with a PhD in hand and prior teaching experience are strongly preferred. A letter of application, CV, evidence of teaching experience (such as current syllabi and student evaluations), and 3 letters of recommendation should be directed to the Chair at clark@fordham.edu.
