GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY – WASHINGTON, DC (Two Positions)
The Georgetown University Department of Classics invites applications for two one-year positions at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2009-10 academic year. The teaching load will be three courses per semester. We seek candidates prepared to teach Greek and Latin at all undergraduate levels, as well as courses in Classical literature and culture in translation. The field of research specialization is open. The successful candidate will be expected to have the Ph.D. in hand when he or she takes up the position.
