The Classics Department of Georgetown University invites applications for an approved, non tenure-track, 2-year appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning in August, 2000. Candidates should have the Ph.D. in hand, with research interests in Latin literature and demonstrated teaching ability. They should expect to teach undergraduate courses in Latin and Greek at all levels, as well as classical literature courses in translation.
