GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY – WASHINGTON, DC
The Georgetown University Classics department invites applications for at least one full-time, visiting position for the 2007-8 academic year. There is a possibility that the department will hire two visitors for next year; there is also a chance that the position could be renewed for up to two additional years.

The successful candidate will teach courses in Greek and Latin at all undergraduate levels and in Classical Studies in translation. The teaching load will be three courses per semester. Field of research specialization is open. The successful candidate will be expected to have the Ph.D. in hand when he or she takes up the position.
