HAMILTON COLLEGE – CLINTON, NY

The Classics Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a possible one-year position, with a possibility for renewal, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, to begin on July 1, 2010. Applicants should have the Ph.D. in hand or be in the very last stages of completing requirements for the degree. They should display evidence of accomplished teaching and scholarly promise. Hamilton has a teaching load of five courses per year; applicants should be prepared to teach Greek, Latin, and Classical Studies, and have the ability to make creative use of information technology.
