HAMILTON COLLEGE – CLINTON, NY
The Department of Classics at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year position, with a possibility for renewal, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin on July 1, 2011. Applicants should have the Ph.D. in hand or be in the very last stages of completing the dissertation. They should display evidence of accomplished teaching and scholarly promise. Hamilton is a distinguished liberal arts college with very competitive salaries and a teaching load of five courses per year. Applicants should be prepared to teach all levels of Greek, Latin, and Classical Studies. The ability to make creative use of information technology is also a desirable quality.
