Hampden-Sydney College, a selective private liberal arts college for men with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, invites applications for an approved one-year position in the Department of Classics, beginning August 2013. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Latin at all undergraduate levels as well as courses such as Classical Mythology and Etymology. The teaching load for this position is seven courses per year. Ph.D. or ABD at advanced dissertation stage preferred.
