Assistant or Associate Professor in the Classics

The Department of the Classics at Harvard University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment expected to begin July 1, 2013, at the level of assistant professor or untenured associate professor. Demonstrated promise of excellence in both teaching and research is expected. Candidates should be able to teach both Greek and Latin, but should show evidence of research in any period(s) of Greek literature down to and including the imperial period. Completion of Ph.D. expected prior to appointment. Harvard University is able to offer an attractive package of salary and benefits, including research support.
