The Department of the Classics seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant or tenure-track Associate Professor in Ancient Greek Literature, without restriction as to period. The appointment will begin on July 1, 2006. Teaching duties will include four courses a year at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should expect to have the Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is desired.
