HAVERFORD COLLEGE – HAVERFORD, PA
Haverford College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in the Department of Classics at the level of Assistant Professor, to begin the fall semester of 2008; applicants must have completed the Ph.D. by September 1, 2008. Candidates should be able to teach courses in Greek and Latin at all levels and to design a variety of courses that would contribute to our offerings in classical culture and society. Desirable areas of expertise include comparative literature and gender studies, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
