Hellenic College invites applications for the newly established, endowed Michael and Anastasia Cantonis Chair in Greek Studies, to begin September 2002. This tenure-track position is for a Hellenist with the ability to teach courses in Modern Greek language. The successful candidate will be expected to promote scholarship, to enrich existing courses in Greek language, literature, history, culture, and society, and to conduct outreach to the larger community through public lectures and other activities. Ph.D., demonstrated excellence in teaching, and a strong record in academic leadership and scholarship are required.
