The Department of Classics at Howard University invites applications for a possible entry-level, tenure-track position, to begin in the fall semester of 2003, for a Hellenist with the ability to teach classes in language, literature, and other aspects of Greek civilization. Ph.D. in Classics is required. Evidence of excellence and dedication in teaching is a strong desideratum, as is a promising record of publication.
