HOWARD UNIVERSITY – WASHINGTON, DC (Two Positions)
The Department of Classics at Howard University invites applications for two (2) one-year, full-time positions for AY 2010-2011 to begin immediately in Late August 2010. We seek a generalist who is competent to teach courses on Greek Civilization and Mythology, as well as Elementary Greek and Latin (both). Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Classics in hand, be fully committed to undergraduate teaching, and demonstrate a competence in research appropriate to their level of experience.
