Assistant Professor of Classics, tenure track position. Starting date September 1, 2004. Hellenist, with a research interest and background in teaching ancient history (both Greek and Roman) and Greek language courses. Since the program offers a wide variety of courses in ancient culture and Greek and Latin (20-25 different courses each semester), the successful candidate will also be expected to be able to teach outside his/her special areas of interest. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Classics and some teaching experience required.
